Open an e-invoice — free, nothing uploaded

Received an XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X or UBL invoice and all you see is code? Drop the file below to read it as a normal invoice — sender, lines, amounts, IBAN — and whether the totals add up.

Germany has required every business to be able to receive e-invoices since 1 January 2025, and France every VAT-registered business since 1 September 2026.

Your invoice stays on your device. The file is read in your browser and never uploaded — we never see your invoice or your bank details.

Common questions

Why does my XRechnung only show code?

An XRechnung or UBL invoice is an XML file, made for accounting software rather than for reading. Drop it above to see it as an invoice. Keep the original file: it is the invoice you are required to retain, not a printout of it.

What about a ZUGFeRD or Factur-X PDF?

It looks like a normal PDF but carries the invoice data as embedded XML. Drop the PDF here and the tool reads that data. If it finds none, ask the sender for the XML file.

Is my invoice uploaded?

No. The file is read in your browser only and never sent to a server.

Does this validate the invoice?

No. It shows the invoice and re-adds the totals. For a formal XRechnung check use the official KoSIT validator, e.g. erechnungsvalidator.service-bw.de.
